Bradenton MOAA Charter Affiliation

GOALS​

Foster Communications and mutual support among active, retired, reserve, national guard, public health service, NOAA, and former officers of the uniformed services.
Provide scholarship opportunities for area senior year Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) cadets and Senior Reserve Officers' training Corps (SROTC) cadets attending the University of Florida, Bradenton.
Maintain a proactive chapter personal affairs program that supports members and their families during health and other family emergencies.
Support the MOAA National and Florida MOAA Council of Chapters.

TASK

Work with and assist community organizations that support services members, patriotic and veteran organizations  such as; CAVC, American Legions, VFW's, etc.
Conduct fundraising events to support our JROTC/SROTC scholarship program and other service members and veterans' programs.
Participate in and help conduct award ceremonies honoring local area JROTC and SROTC scholarship recipients, with their guest.
Plan and schedule social events for the chapter.
